Abstract:
[Problem] To enable a further reduction in time when an image formation device forms an image by acquiring data from a server device. [Solution] A server device (20) comprises: a plurality of image formation devices (10) for each of different resolutions; a storage device (26) that stores a resolution table (204) in which the resolution of each of the image formation devices (10) is recorded in association with the information processing ability of the respective image formation device (10); memory that stores an information processing program; and a processor (21) that executes the information processing program. The processor (21) operates as: a print data acquisition unit (201) for acquiring print data from a terminal device when the information processing program is executed; an intermediate data generation unit (202) for generating resolution-independent intermediate data on the basis of the print data; an image formation device selection unit (214) for selecting one image formation device (10) for each different resolution, in accordance with priorities, from among the plurality of image formation devices (10) recorded in the resolution table (204); an intermediate data supply unit (203) for supplying the intermediate data to the selected plurality of image formation devices (10); a rasterized data acquisition unit (205) for acquiring a plurality of rasterized data items, each dependent on a different resolution, with the rasterized data being generated by the plurality of image formation devices (10), on the basis of the intermediate data; a pull print reception unit (210) for receiving a pull print request from a pull print image formation device (10), which is an image formation device (10) that executes pull printing, and acquiring a pull print resolution, which is the resolution of the pull print image formation device (10); a resolution determination unit (211) for determining whether the same resolution as the pull print resolution has been recorded in the resolution table (204); and a pull print data supply unit (212) for supplying, to the pull print image formation device (10), rasterized data which is dependent on the same resolution as the pull print resolution.
