Abstract:
A server device (100) is accessed by an application (31) running on a terminal device (200). The server device (100) attempts to authenticate the application (31) on the terminal device (200) using a user name and a password, and if the authentication is successful, the server device (100) transmits an access token to the application (31) and permits access by the application (31). Upon issuing the access token, the server device (100) extends expiration dates assigned to other access tokens associated with the terminal device (200). When an access token received by the server device (100) from the application (31) on the terminal device (200) is associated with the terminal device (200) and has not yet reached a stored expiration date assigned to the access token, the server device (100) permits access by the application (31) and extends expiration dates assigned to all the access tokens associated with the terminal device (200).
