Abstract:
Provided is a server device which contributes to improvement of convenience for a user who tries to reserve a facility or an event. The server device comprises: a search control means; a reservation control means; and an authentication control means. The search control means searches for a facility or an event which requires reservation, and presents to the user facilities or events which require reservation and which have been acquired through the search as search results. The reservation control means executes control for reservation of a facility or an event selected from among the presented search results by the user. The reservation control means stores, upon successful reservation, authentication information on the user and reservation information on the reserved facility or event in association with each other. The authentication control means identifies, upon reception of an authentication request including authentication information on a person to be authenticated, the person to be authenticated through a comparison process using the authentication information. The authentication control means authenticates the person to be authenticated on the basis of the reservation information on the identified person to be authenticated.
