Abstract:
A server management program, a mail server management program, a server management
system, and a server management method can quickly respond to a failure. A server
management system (1) has a management server (2) and a mail server (3). The management
server (2) has a source determining section (4) and an alert notification mail
generating section (5). The source determining section (4) determines a symbol
for identifying the main cause of a system failure as a source according to the
main cause of the system failure. The alert notification mail generating section
(5) has the determined source and generates an alert notification mail destined
to a system administrator. The mail server (3) sends the alert notification
mail to a terminal used by the system administrator.
