Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a server system log collection method and system. The method comprises the following steps: if a fault occurs when a server starts up, a BMC determines whether an OS log exists in preset log collection content; if not, the BMC sends a log collection command to the OS, and the OS collects a log according to the preset log collection content, and sends the collected log to the BMC; and the BMC uploads the received log to a log server. Compared with the prior art, the present invention improves the comprehensiveness, accuracy and working efficiency of server system log collection.
