Abstract:
A server which efficiently performs communication even when the number of terminals transmitting data fluctuate. A basic frame has a server transmission interval for a management server (2) to transmit data to wireless terminals (5) and a terminal transmission interval for the wireless terminals (5) to transmit data to the management server (2). The interval lengths of the server transmission interval and terminal transmission interval are variable, and the management server (2) can set, with a synchronization signal, the ratio of the intervals to any value. In such cases when the wireless terminals (5) are placed in a store and requests to join a wireless system (1) are received, the management server (2) extends the terminal transmission interval and rapidly processes the join requests from the wireless terminals (5) when the amount of data transmitted from the wireless terminals (5) to the management server (2) is large, and extends the server transmission interval and rapidly transmits the data when the amount of data transmitted from the management server (2) to the wireless terminals (5) is large.
