Abstract:
Disclosed are a service data transmission method and apparatus, which relate to the field of communications, and solve the problem of supporting the large bandwidth, low time delay and low cost of a service in an OTN network. The specific solution involves: a first network device mapping service data to a middle frame of a FlexO group frame, and then mapping the middle frame of the FlexO group frame to the FlexO group frame, and transmitting the FlexO group frame to a second network device, wherein the FlexO group frame comprises N paths of FlexO frames; each path of FlexO frames comprises a codeword area of M*X bits and an FEC area of M*Y bits, M is a multiple of 128, and X is a multiple of 5140; the codeword area comprises an AM area, an OH area and a payload area; and the middle frame of the FlexO group frame comprises a middle frame payload area and a middle frame overhead area. The embodiment of the present application is used in a process of transmitting service data.
