Abstract:
Provided are a service discovery method and an electronic device, which relate to the technical field of communications. The service discovery method comprises: sending, by a first device through an access point, a service discovery request to at least one second device connected to the access point, wherein the service discovery request is used for querying to the at least one second device a service requested to be queried by the first device; and receiving, by the first device, a service discovery response sent by the at least one second device, wherein the service discovery response is a response of the at least one second device to the service discovery request; and the service discovery response comprises a service supported by the at least one second device. In the embodiments of the present invention, in a scenario where a plurality of electronic devices are all connected to an access point, the interaction of service discovery messages among the plurality of electronic devices can be realized without disconnecting the electronic devices from the access point, thereby improving the service discovery efficiency and then improving the inter-communication efficiency.
