Abstract:
A service mapping processing method, apparatus and system for an optical transport network. The method comprises: generating mapping adaptation indication information according to a mapping granularity of a low order optical channel data unit (LOODU) to be born, the mapping granularity being M × g bytes, where M is the number of time slots occupied by the LOODU to be born in an optical channel payload unit OPUCn, g is the size of the mapping granularity corresponding to each time slot of the time slots occupied by the LOODU, and g is a positive integer greater than one; mapping the LOODU to be born to an ODTUCn.M payload region in an optical channel data tributary unit ODTUCn.M according to the mapping adaptation indication information, the ODTUCn.M comprising an ODTUCn.M overhead region and the ODTUCn.M payload region; encapsulating the mapping adaptation indication information into the ODTUCn.M overhead region; encapsulating the ODTUCn.M into an optical channel transport unit OTUCn; and sending the OTUCn to a receiving end device. The method avoids the problem that intercommunication cannot be performed at receiving and sending ends because of adopting OTUCns with different mapping granularities.
