Abstract:
The present invention relates to a service platform providing a membership service in conjunction with a beacon and a method thereof, and the method of providing a membership service in conjunction with a beacon disposed in a store comprises the steps in which: a service platform receives a store identifier from the beacon; the service platform receives a user identifier by means of a user terminal, from a SIM card in the user terminal; the service platform checks the presence of previously stored affiliate membership information or an affiliate membership code corresponding to the store identifier and the user identifier; and, if the affiliate membership code exists, the service platform provides the affiliate membership code to the user terminal, wherein the service platform provides the affiliate membership code to the user terminal via a multimedia message (MMS) or a push notification.
