Abstract:
Provided are a service recovery method and a corresponding controller. The service recovery method comprises: when detecting that a first path carrying a first service is faulty, the first service being a quality degradable service; determining whether an available bandwidth on a second path between a first node and a terminal node corresponding to the first service is sufficient for the first service to be recovered or not; when the available bandwidth on the second path is insufficient for the first service to be recovered, compressing the first service and the bandwidth of the compressed first service being smaller than the available bandwidth on the second path; and switching the compressed first service to the second path. According to the solution of the embodiment in the present invention, when residual resources exist between the first node and the terminal node corresponding to the service influenced by the fault, but are not sufficient for an interrupted service to be recovered, the quality degradable service is compressed, so that the bandwidth is saved and service recovery is realized, the utilization rate of the resources can be improved and user experience can be optimized.
