Abstract:
Disclosed is a servo control device for suppressing transfer speed upon a data bus when performing control for a driver by serial communication. The disclosed servo control device for controlling a driver for driving an optical pickup and a motor comprises a phase compensation unit for generating and outputting a plurality of types of control values for controlling the driver on the basis of a signal output from the optical pickup, and a transfer data generation unit for serially transferring the control values to the driver. The phase compensation unit notifies the transfer data generation unit that, among the control values, a control value for which suppression of delay in transmission is necessary has been output. The transfer data generation unit, upon receiving the notification, starts processing for transferring the control value corresponding to the notification when other control values are not being transferred.
