Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a servo press capable of providing a higher speed in the
moving zone of a slide and a larger pressurizing force in the pressurizing zone
near a bottom dead center without increasing a motor capacity. [MEANS FOR SOLVING
THE PROBLEMS] This servo press comprises a multi-toggle mechanism (10) for
vertically moving a slide (5) onto the lower surface of which an upper die is fitted,
and a toggle drive mechanism (20) that is fitted to a crown (6) secured above the
slide and drives the multi-toggle mechanism. The multi-toggle mechanism (20)
is so constituted of links (11, 12, 13, 14) as to have three or more toggles capable
of producing force amplification action.
