The present invention relates to a broadband traffic analysis system, and more particularly, to a system which analyzes all of the uplink and downlink traffic in detail by means of the numerical analysis of the sequence number and acknowledgement number of one of the directions of the two-way TCP traffic, in spite of the fact that usually all of the traffic in both directions needs to be collected in order to analyze all of the traffic transmitted via broadband. Provided is a session-based traffic analysis system which is capable of replacing a plurality of high-cost, high-capacity traffic analysis systems with a low-cost, efficient traffic analysis system, and measuring the total amount of traffic by means of the analysis of some uplink traffic accounting for about 1/3 of the total broadband traffic. Provided is a session-based analysis system which accurately analyzes the amount of traffic for each TCP connection with only some one-way packets on the basis of TCP connection-oriented characteristics, i.e. connection information of data storage for each TCP connection, and which accurately analyzes the amount of two-way traffic with only some one-way connection information, as the amount of transport TCP data transmission is calculated by means of the sequence number of the TCP connection information, and the amount of received TCP data transmission is calculated by means of the acknowledgement number of the TCP connection information.
