Abstract:
A session monitoring method, device, system and an access node are based on multicast
technique. The method includes the steps of: obtaining the members information
of a session multicast group which a user at the user side can join; the session
between the members in the session multicast group and the network side is in an
active state (201); searching whether the user information of the user is contained
in the member information of the session multicast group, if contained, determining
the session between the user being a member of the session multicast group and
the network side is active (202). By setting a session multicast group between
the user side and the network side, the members information within the session
multicast group is monitored by the network side, so as to implement detecting
the activity of the session based on the multicast technique.
