Abstract:
New model of rotative brush composed by modules, being able to use or not screws or other support means, to be used on washing machines for vehicles, which has a totally new and unpublished concept referring to its configuration, to its constitution, becoming a very practical model for maintenance, assembly and using , since due to its design and to its composition material, refers to a brush which can wash perfectly, enhancing the shine of vehicles, providing comfort and safety to users, as well as, economy, facility of using and maintenance and versatility for the operator.

CLAIMS

1 - "SET OF ROTATIVE BRUSHES FOR AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINES FOR VEHICLES IN GENERAL", module for formation of brushes in a first preferential form of manufacturing (illustrations from 1 to 5), characterized by referring to a rotative brush composed by modules (1), arranged in a central support cylinder (3), being composed by one ring (2) with cleaner elements (4) and one spacer (5), alternated amongst themselves, in a way to form a brush of length and dimension desirable; where each one of modules (1) consists of : one support ring (2) cleaner elements (4) , having fitting locks (12) to support on central support cylinder (3) , on which are arranged the cleaner elements (4), which presents an specific shape, having internal teeth (6) conforming openings (7), distributed equally along of ring's internal perimeter, used for placement and supporting of cleaner elements (4); and still composed by one spacer of rings, bipartite or not (5), in shape essentially cylindrical with fitting locks on extremities (11) when and even be bipartite type, and fitting locks (12) to support on central support cylinder (3).

2 - " SET OF ROTATIVE BRUSH FOR AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINES FOR VEHICLES IN GENERAL ", according to Claim 1, characterized by ring of support of cleaner element can be thin and bipartite (2), with the same presenting fitting locks on extremities (11), and fitting locks (12) on central support cylinder (3), on which are arranged the cleaner elements (4), which present a specific shape, having internal teeth (6), conforming openings (7), distributed equally along of ring's internal perimeter, used to placement and support of cleaner elements (4)

3 - "SET OF ROTATIVE BRUSH FOR AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINES FOR VEHICLES IN GENERAL ", according to Claim 1, characterized by support ring of cleaner element can be thick (2), with the same presenting fitting

locks (12) on central support cylinder (3), on which are arranged the cleaner elements (4), which also presents a specific format, having internal teeth (6) conforming openings (J), distributed equally along of ring's internal perimeter, used for placement and support of cleaner elements (4), and can or not use fastener elements (14) for the cleaner elements.

4 - "SET OF ROTATIVE BRUSH FOR AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINES FOR VEHICLES IN GENERAL ", according to Claim 1, characterized by cleaner elements (4), being constituted of textile material, addictived polyethylene (EVA), and/or textile no textile/ being the same are constituted through longitudinal cuts (8) made on it (9), presented preferably in a rectangular shape, being that these cuts are made on two extremities of textile, distributed in a way preferably regular on length and width, with appropriate dimensions and/or according to required, making strips (10).

5 - "SET OF ROTATIVE BRUSH FOR AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINES FOR VEHICLES IN GENERAL ", according to Claim 1,2,3, and 4, characterized by cleaner elements (4), be arranged on ring (2), which support the same in a half bend shape, in relation to the bigger height, and to the smaller height, passing inside of each opening (7) of ring (2) and fitting by the medium part of bended parts of these elements, and fixed through specific pins (14) , in a way that cleaner elements be supported by openings, by internal support cylinder (3) and by specific pins (14), fulfilling all space existent between them, avoiding its movement on point of support and promoting its fixation by fitting , using or not using fixation pins (14).

6 - "SET OF ROTATIVE BRUSH FOR AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINES FOR VEHICLES IN GENERAL ", module for formation of brushes in a

second way preferential of manufacturing ( illustrations 6 to 10) , characterized by referring to a rotative brush composed by modules (1) arranged in a central support cylinder (5); composed by one set of three rings to be fit amongst themselves (2), perfectly to be fit amongst themselves, forming a cylinder, being one flat central ring (2 a) and two external rings (2b) presenting a prolongation lowered disposed (3) for fitting on central ring (2 a) leaving a minimum space, where the cleaner elements (4) are placed between the two external rings (2b) half bend shape, in relation to the bigger height, and to the smaller height, passing inside of central ring (2a), in way to cleaner elements be supported by set of three rings (2), fulfilling all space existent between them, avoiding its movement on point of support and promoting its fixation by fitting, and with modules (1) assembled can be assembled several rotative brushes, in sizes and convenient lengths, placing each module composed by three rings, being fitted one upon other, on central support cylinder (5) till form the required rotative brush.

7 - "SET OF ROTATIVE BRUSH FOR AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINES FOR VEHICLES IN GENERAL ", according to Claim 6, characterized by cleaner elements (4), being constituted of textile material, addictived polyethylene (EVA), and/or textile no textile/ being the same are constituted through longitudinal cuts (7) made on it (6 ), presented preferably in a rectangular shape, being that these cuts are done on two extremities, distributed in a form preferentially regular on length and width, with adequate dimensions and/or according to required, making strips (8).

"SET OF ROTATIVE BRUSHES FOR AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINES FOR VEHICLES IN GENERAL ".

The present report refers to detailed description and followed of illustrative drawings of a new Rotative brush model manufactured in modules, without using of screws or other fixation means, to be used on vehicles washing machines which has a totally new and unpublished concept regarding to its configuration, constitution, becoming a practical model for maintenance, assembly and using, since, due to its design and material, it is a brush that washes perfectly the vehicles' surface, enhancing the shine, avoiding risks proportioning comfort and safety to the user. There are in the market several kinds and models of rotative brushes, in particular those described in some patent documents, from them we can mention some as follow:

The MU 6501561 describes a module for the composition of rotative brush appropriate to automatic washing of vehicles in general, destinated to be used together with a plurality of similar modules assembled successively around of central tube which define the axle of rotative brush, comprising one rectangular plate, where are fixed the plurality of tuft of bristle distributed around all plate's area with exception of one narrow traverse border which is provided of opening or passer-by holes to apply the fixation elements of plate to central brush tube, being the tufts of bristles sub- divided in groups of shorter bristles and of longer bristles, with the group of shorter bristles arranged in diagonal between two groups of longer bristles and being the group of shorter bristles of one different color or tonality from the longer bristles group.

The PI 9401789 describes a roll with bristles to automatic installations destinated to washing of vehicles and similar that comprises a cylindrical body, upon its surface are distributed bristles constituted of a fine coat of polypropylene, of

polyethylene, and plastic material and your copolymer. Where the strips present, barbs of plastic material or of copolymer, which extend along of a longitudinal direction, coincident with a longitudinal extension of its own bristles. Where each bristle is constituted for a strip, folded in a way to present in traverse section a flat configuration which connects to longitudinal stretches, which are also flat, folded, in relation to the first. And where the bristles can also be formed by flat tubular elements and provided of lateral coats folded in 180° in relation to the first from inside or to outside.

The PI 9200802 describes a brush for washing rolls for automatic washing of self-driven vehicles, which comprised a plurality of elements in form of plates, with bristles groups, to be rolled up around support rolls and to be flanked in axial direction, and each element in form of plate present a plurality of cylindrical points distributed in a uniform way to accommodation of bristles groups, where the element in form of plate presents, in a longitudinal extremity, a reentrance without cylindrical points, where it can be jointed one central projection with cylindrical points, elaborated over the element's extremity in plate shaped, and being provided, besides it, at least one element of removable joining of referred extremities, upon one of them is caved a lowered point for accommodation of one extremity. Where the reentrance has the format of "V", and the joining element is one pin.

The PI 9700142 describes a Rotative brush with cleaner and flexible elements in synthetic resin expanded of closed cell, for surface's washing, in particular suitable to motorized installations for automatic washing of vehicles, comprising one member of fixable support to a rotative organ and a plurality of cleaner and flexible elements arranged side by side and fixed by one extremity to referred member of support in a perpendicular way to it, where referred flexible elements are made in a synthetic resin expanded of closed cells, chosen from the group what consists of

polyethylene, additived polyethylene with vinilacetate (EVA) and polyurethane. Where the cleaner and flexible elements present a plan development, a width substantially equal to those of support member, where are fixed, and present a number of cuts parallel halfway of pre-fixed length and arranged in a perpendicular to the rotation axle of referred brush in a way to make a bang. Where the support member is composed by a cylindrical jacket presenting externally over all its length a plurality of radial cuts halfway arranged parallel to its longitudinal axle, with each cut having a traverse section in a way to form an open space with convergent walls to outside, to insertion of each one of referred cleaner and flexible element. The PI 9700307 describes a manufacturing process of Rotative brushes and the rotative brush obtained for the said process comprising a support which has an internal face and an external face, being fixed to external face cleaner flexible plan elements, provided or not, and composed of polyethylene or additived polyetilene with acetate of vinila. Where the brush is composed by elements having two coaxial cylinders with the most external cylinder having a plurality of opening which allow the radial insertion of one extremity or more cleaner flexible elements and in space between two coaxial cylinder are injected the components of synthetic resin at fluid state, which after the polymerization fulfill the internal space embedding and fastening the extremities of cleaner flexible elements. And Last the PI 0402713-2 describe a new rotative brush composed by modules (1) arranged in a central axle in a manner to form one brush of length and size desirable. Where each module (1). consists of one body essentially cylindrical (2), on which are arranged, coax and external, at least, two support plates (3) of cleaner elements (4), where the cleaner elements (4) are constituted of textile material and/or textile non textile material . preferably constituted of polyester, polyester felt or holed

Dacron, or holed polyester with Dacron/cotton, polyester, polyethylene monofilaments, or other similar material.

Following it makes reference to Illustrations which follow this descriptive report, for better comprehension and illustration of the same, where can be noted :

Illustration no. 1 shows, a scheme of a rotative brush module, assembled on central cylinder, presented in a side view, in cut , with all its

configuration details, detaching the cleaner element fixation on ring, with specific pins and formation of module.

Illustration no. 2 shows, a module which integrates the rotative brush, with support at bipartite thin ring, in a superior view (a); assembled with one cleaner element (b); and in a side view (c).

Illustration no. 3 shows, a module which integrates the rotative brush, with support in thick ring, in a superior view (a); and in a view in perspective (b) ; and in a side view (c).

Illustration no. 4 shows, a scheme of spacer for assembly of rotative

part composed by three fitting rings, which fix the cleaner element.

Illustration no. 9 shows, a scheme of a set of three rings of rotative brush's central part for assembly of module and support of cleaner elements. Illustration no. 10 shows, a scheme of cleaner element of rotative brush, presenting in superior view, emphasizing its configuration.

The rotative brush set for vehicle's washing machines in general, object of this present patent, in a first preferential form of manufacturing, ( illustrations from 1 to 5 ) refers to a rotative brush composed by modules (1) arranged in a central support cylinder (3), composed by one ring (2) with cleaner elements (4) and one spacer (5), alternated amongst themselves, in a way to form a brush on length and size desirable. Where each one of modules (1) consists of : one support ring (2) of cleaner element (4), having fitting locks (12) to support on central support cylinder (3), on which are disposed the cleaner elements (4), which present a specific format, with internal teeth (6) conforming openings (7), distributed equally along of ring's internal perimeter, used for placing and support of cleaner elements (4); and still composed by one ring spacer, bipartite or not (5), in a shape essentially cylindrical with fitting locks on extremities (11) when the same be bipartite, and fitting locks (12) to sustain on central support cylinder (3). The support ring of cleaner element can be thin and bipartite (2), in this case the same presents fitting locks on extremities (1 1), and fitting locks (12) on central support cylinder (3), on which are disposed the cleaner elements (4), which present a specific format, with internal teeth (6) conforming openings (7), distributed equally along of ring's internal perimeter, used for placing and support of cleaner elements (4).

The support ring of cleaner element can be thick (2), in this case the same presents fitting locks (12) on central support cylinder (3), on which are disposed the cleaner elements (4), which present a specific format, with internal teeth (6) conforming openings (7), distributed equally along of ring's internal perimeter, used for placing and support of cleaner elements (4), and it can or not use fastener elements (14) for cleaner elements.

Where the cleaner elements (4) are constituted of textile material and/or textile not textile, preferably constituted of polyester, polyester felt or holed Dacron, or holed polyester with Dacron/cotton, polyester, polyethylene monofilaments, addictived polyethylene (EVA), or other similar material. So that material of cleaner elements (4) refers to a textile or a material no simple textile, mixed or composed having larger softness in contact with the surface to be washed.

Being that cleaner elements (4) are constituted through longitudinal cuts (8) made on it (9), presented preferably in rectangular shape, being those cuts made on two extremities, distributed in a regular form on length and on width, with appropriate dimensions and/or according to required, making strips (10). Where the cleaner element (4) is disposed on ring (2) , which support it, in a half bend shape, in relation to the bigger height, and to the smaller height, passing inside of each opening (7) and fitting by the medium part of bended parts of these elements, and fixed through specific pins (14) , in a way that cleaner elements be supported by openings, by internal support cylinder (3) and by specific pins (14), fulfilling all space existent between them, avoiding its movement on point of support and promoting its fixation by fitting .

The rotative brush set for vehicle's washing machines in general, object of this patent, in a second form preferential of manufacturing, (illustrations from 6 to 10) refers to a rotative brush composed by modules (1) arranged in a central support

cylinder (5); composed by a set of three rings fitting amongst themselves (2), forming a cylinder , being a flat central ring (2a) and two external rings (2b) presenting an axially lowering arranged (3) for fitting on central ring (2a) leaving a minimum space, where the cleaner elements (4) are positioned between the two external rings (2b) in a half bend shape, in relation to the bigger height, and to the smaller height, passing inside of central ring (2a) by this way to the cleaner elements be fixed by set of three rings (2) , fullfilling all space existent between them, avoiding its movement on point of support and promoting its fixation.

Once with module (1) assembled it can be assembled several rotative brushes, in several sizes and length useful, placing each module composed by three rings, being fitted one upon other, on central support cylinder (5) till form the desired rotative brush.

The cleaner elements (4) are constituted of textile material and/or textile no textile, preferentially constituted of polyester, polyester felt or Dacron holed with Dacron, or holed polyester with Dacron/cotton, polyester, polyethylene monofilaments, addictived polyethylene (EVA), or other similar material. So that material of cleaner elements (4) refers to a simple material, mixed or composed having larger softness in contact with the surface to be washed. Being that cleaner elements (4) are constituted by longitudinal cuts (7) made on it (6), presenting preferentially in a rectangular shape, being these cuts made on two extremities, distributed in a regular form on length and on width, with appropriated dimensions a and/or according to the required, making strips (8).

The material which constitute the cleaner elements (4), independently of its configuration, become more soft the contact with the surface to be washed, avoiding risk to form marks on that surface, as well, provide the reduction of tendency

of brush moves and/or in case pull the fragile elements of vehicles such as: mirrors, windshield cleaners, the antennas, etc.

On configurated conditions, described above, varying the proportion of elements size which form the module of rotative brush, here proposed, it's possible to have several rotative brushes with variation of size and proportion of shape to obtain any model which replaces the conventional brushes, with several advantages. Mainly due to new shape of modules on which are not used fix elements, such as : screws, pins or rivets, due to its placement system is by fitting, one upon other, fitted in a central

support, allowing a practical maintenance, since it's very simple assembly, resulting

quick assembly, economy of material on brushes manufacturing, fast and simple maintenance, lightness of constituent elements, as well as, provide a direct assembly on support tube without using screws or any other fixation devices.

The materials used on composition of brush module are preferably materials not degrading with humidity and light, being possible to the utilization of any

material available in the market with required conditions. All and any possible small

variation of sizes, from the proportion and or configuration of elements which compose the rotative brush module, here presented, as well as, the assembly way of these elements and of brush assembly in general, which correspond to the content of claim, will remain inside of protection aim granted to this patent. So, for the characteristics of configuration above mentioned, format and

operation, can be noted clearly that the "SET OF ROTATIVE BRUSHES FOR AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINES FOR VEHICLES IN GENERAL ", refers to a

new object for the State of Technique which covers of conditions to deserve the

privilege of invention patent.
