Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1995/018556
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to furnishing field and more particularly to a set of shelves. The set of shelves comprises pillars (2) formed of a bent wall having a side wing (8) and a rear wing (10), said wings (8, 10) each having at least one slot (12, 14) for the passage of a shelf (6). This set of shelves is characterized in that the shelf (6) has in its lower face a groove (20) having a width l equal to the thickness e2 of the side wing (8) for hooking the shelf (6) to the side wing (8), the slot (12, 14) in the other wing (10) being offset downward by a distance d equal to the depth p of the groove (20) and by a height h equal to the thickness e1 of the shelf (6), with the possibility of modifying bending of said wall (2) so that the shelf, cooperating in bracing and stiffening the set of shelves, is strictly maintained without requiring additional elements, and without the use of tools for assembling the set of shelves.
