Abstract:
The present solution relates to a set-top box component quality feedback method and system The method comprises: determining a faulty component when maintaining a set-top box which has a fault in later use, acquiring the identifier of the component and sending same to a designated storage location, and then calculating, at the designated storage location, the number of times a fault occurs to each component, and determining, according to the number of times a fault occurs, whether the quality of each component satisfies a requirement, if the quality of a component does not satisfy the requirement, replacing the component in a timely manner. By continuously feeding back component quality problems occurring during later use by users, the present invention avoids an excessively high fault rate of those set-top boxes manufactured at a later stage, ensuring the quality of set-top boxes and satisfying user requirements.
