Abstract:
A set-top box data management method, comprising: acquiring an operating area of a set-top box; acquiring frequency point information corresponding to the operating area of the set-top box and a predetermined configuration of the operating area of the set-top box according to a preset all-frequency point information database, the frequency point information database comprising an index of the frequency point information corresponding to the operating area and the predetermined configuration of the operating area; configuring the frequency point information corresponding to the operating area of the set-top box and the predetermined configuration of the operating area as a system configuration of the operating area; and storing the system configuration of the operating area in a system data storage area. The present method improves area adaptability of the set-top box, and can automatically set the system configuration of the selected area when updating the system configuration of the set-top box, thus reducing user operation.
