Abstract:
Setting of a biometric device can be simply and easily performed. A setting device (7)
comprises a storage section (30) for storing personal and physical information set
in a biometric device (101)and output form information indicating the output form
of the results of measurement by the biometric device (101), a setting request acquiring
section (23) for acquiring a setting request, a device ID, and a type ID from the
biometric device (101), a setting information management section (27) for reading
necessary personal and physical information and adequate output form information
from the storage section (30) when the setting request acquiring section (23)
acquires the setting request and, a setting information output section (26)
for notifying the biometric device (101) of various setting contents indicated
by the information read by the setting information management section (27).
