Abstract:
Provided are a settlement apparatus and a control method therefor. The apparatus comprises: a housing, wherein a receiving box having an opening at an upper end is provided in the housing, a cover plate capable of opening and closing the opening is provided on the housing, and when the cover plate closes the opening, the receiving box forms an enclosed space, the constituent materials of the cover plate and the housing comprising a metal material, so that the enclosed space is an electromagnetic shielding space; an RFID reading unit comprising an RFID reader and an RFID antenna, which are connected to each other, wherein the RFID antenna is provided on an inner wall of the enclosed space formed by the receiving box, and the RFID reader reads, by means of the RFID antenna, an RFID tag of a commodity to be settled; a decoder for performing decoding processing on an anti-theft tag of the commodity to be settled, the decoder being provided on the inner wall of the enclosed space formed by the receiving box; and a controller connected to the RFID reading unit and the decoder, wherein the controller is used to control the RFID reading unit to read the RFID tag and provide settlement information according to a reading result, and control the decoder to decode the anti-theft tag according to a payment operation of a user with regard to the settlement information.
