Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a sewing data generating program and a sewing data generating device with which, when sewing an embroidered pattern that is larger than a sewable area by splitting the embroidered pattern into a plurality of patterns that are smaller than the sewable area, it is possible to form an image of the specific arrangement of the next partial pattern to be sewed. The sewing data generating device acquires a pattern (90) (S1), and splits the acquired pattern (90) into a first pattern (91) and a second pattern (92) including an overlap section (93, 94) which partially overlaps the first pattern (91) (S2). The sewing data generating device generates sewing data for sewing the first pattern (91) and the second pattern (92) individually onto a product to be sewn (C) (S2). The sewing data generating device generates processing data for processing, in the actual dimensions, a processing pattern (98) obtained by removing the overlap section (94) from the second pattern (92), onto a sheet-like object to be processed (P2), which is different from the object being sewn (C) (S3) .
