Abstract:
A sewing machine controller is provided with a motor (7) for driving a main shaft of a head section of a sewing machine, detecting section (9) for detecting rotational angle of the motor (7), a control section (40) which controls the motor (7) and, at the same time, fetches the signal of the detecting section (9), and an operating section (30) which instructs the operations of the sewing machine. The controller is also provided with a designating means (34) which designates a prescribed position to the needle (5) of the sewing machine in the ascending and descending processes of the needle (5) in the control section (40) or in the operating section (30). The controller is provided with first storing section (55), which can store and read out the value designated by means of the designating means (34) in the control section (40), and further provided with second storing section (131) in the detecting section (9) or in the operating section (30).
