Abstract:
Provided are a sewing machine with which it is possible to determine whether an object to be photographed is held with a tilt, and a holding member with which it is possible to cause the sewing machine to determine whether the object to be photographed is held with a tilt. The CPU of the sewing machine executes an inclination angle acquisition process, whereby a photographing unit of the sewing machine photographs a marker region of the holding member for holding the object to be photographed. The CPU of the sewing machine thereby acquires the separation distance among a plurality of markers in the marker region of the holding member, on the basis of image data of an image photographed by the photographing unit. The CPU acquires an inclination angle θ on the basis of the acquired separation distance. The inclination angle θ is the inclination angle of the holding member. The CPU determines whether the acquired inclination angle θ exceeds a prescribed value α. The sewing machine can thereby determine whether the object to be photographed is held with a tilt.
