Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sewing machine and a sewing machine program which facilitate changes to the layout of a pattern on a workpiece after sewing has started on the basis of embroidery data. A control unit of the sewing machine acquires the embroidery data that includes pattern data and break data alternately (S1) and associates a sewing position of the pattern with each pattern data included in the embroidery data (S5). The control unit stops the driving of a moving means and a sewing means when the break data included in the embroidery data is read (S15). The control unit carries out sewing according to the pattern data that is next in the sewing order when the control unit receives an instruction to start sewing via an input unit (S20, S8, S11, S12, S13, and S14). The control unit receives a change instruction to change a sewing position of at least one of a plurality of the patterns via the input unit (S18) and changes the sewing position associated with the pattern data for sewing the pattern to be changed according to the change instruction (S19).
