Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a sewing machine thread treatment agent having a low friction property over a wide range of speeds, and a sewing machine thread. As a solution, the present invention provides a sewing machine thread treatment agent characterized by comprising a hydroxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (A), a nonionic surfactant (B), and at least one or more waxes (C) selected from paraffin wax, oxidized paraffin wax, polyethylene wax, oxidized polyethylene wax, and carnauba wax.
