Abstract:
Provided is a sewing machine that achieves both greater workability when aligning an article to be sewn and greater workability when sewing than the prior art. The sewing machine is provided with a bed section, a conveyance unit, a sewing unit, a projector, and a control unit. The projector is configured so as to project a projected image toward the bed section. In a predetermined case in which sewing is not being performed by the conveyance unit and the sewing unit, the control unit performs (S1) first control that causes the projector to project a first image including a first object indicating a planned sewing position and a second object indicating a reference position for alignment of an article to be sewn. When sewing is being performed by the conveyance unit and the sewing unit, the control unit performs (S5) second control that causes the projector to project a second image including the first object but not including the second object.
