Abstract:
In the present invention, a plurality of pieces of fabric (1a, 1b) are sewn together by performing needle felting in which wool yarn (2) is placed at a sewing location and a felting needle (3) is made to prick through the plurality of pieces of fabric (1a, 1b) together with the wool yarn (2) so that a fiber (2a) of the wool yarn (2) is intertwined with fibers of the sewn pieces of fabric (1a, 1b). In this way, the wool yarn fiber becomes a sewing thread (a) and the plurality of pieces of fabric (1a, 1b) can be sewn together. In other words, pieces of fabric to be sewn together are not limited to non-woven fabrics, and instead various types of fabric can be sewn together. A seam line (a) will have the same shape as embroidery produced by the needle felting and the sewing of fabric and the embroidery can be performed simultaneously.
