Abstract:

Provided is a shaft for a constant velocity universal joint, in which there is no loss of a sense of strength, while torsional vibration (vibration in the direction of rotation) is absorbed. A shaft for a constant velocity universal joint, in which constant velocity universal joints are connected to an output-side end part (1a) and an input-side end part (1b), respectively. A damping mechanism (4) which uses resistance in the direction of rotation to inhibit rotational fluctuations caused by a torque load from the input-side end part (1b) is provided on a central part (3) of the shaft for a constant velocity universal joint, between the output-side end part (1a) and the input-side end part (1b).
