1. A law clutch for connecting shafts, comprising two bodies with drivers set symmetrically, characterized in that each body (1) in a form of sleeve (2) with flanges (3) comprises two identical halves, each of said halves has two ears (4) combined with edges of the halves of the sleeve (2) and pressed in pairs with screws (5), and each of the halves of the body (1) has drivers (6) placed on the periphery of the flanges (3).

2. Claw clutch according to claim 1 , characterized in that the side surfaces of the drivers (6) are covered with an overlay (7) made from elastic material.

3. Claw clutch according to claim 1 , characterized in that there is space between the face surfaces of the flanges (3) of two bodies (1) connected to the shafts.

Description:

SHAFT COUPLING

The subject of the invention is a claw clutch that connects two shafts.

A clutch with round base is know from published description CN202451618, that has a central, round opening, where there are three knife drivers fixed to the side of the base evenly spaced around the circle.

According to the invention each body of the clutch, in a form of a sleeve with a flange, comprises two identical halves, each with two ears on the edges of the halves of the sleeves, connected in pairs with screws. Each of the halves of the body has drivers spaced symmetrically on the periphery of the flange. Side surfaces of the drivers are taped with elastic material in a form of overlay.

Bodies are connected to shafts in such way, that between the face surfaces of the flanges there is a space that allows for removal of the bearing from the shaft.

Clutch bodies made from two parts allows for their removal from shafts without the need for sliding apart of the ends of the shafts. This solution in particular simplifies exchange of spent or damaged bearings. Clutch allows axial displacement of the ends of the shafts in relation to eachother.

The invention is shown on the drawings, where Fig. 1 is a view of the clutch, Fig. 2 is a halfview of the half of the body perpendicular to the joint plane and halfview of the face of the driver, and Fig.3 view of two bodies set on the shafts.

A clutch comprises two bodies 1 , in a form of sleeves 2 with flanges 3. Body 1 comprises of two identical halves. Each half of the body has two ears 4 connected to edges of the halves of the sleeve 2. Ears 4 of two halves of the body 1 are connected in pairs with four screws 5 placed in openings of the ears 4. Each of the halves of the body 1 has two drivers 6 placed symmetrically in the body every 90°. Side surfaces of the drivers 6 are covered with elastic material in a form of the overlay 7, fixed with screws 8. Inside of the sleeve 2 there are two groves 9 for a wedge. Beside that in sleeve 2 there is a opening 10 for pivot. Bodies 1 are set on the ends of the shafts in such way, that there is space between the face surfaces of the flanges 3.
