Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a technique that allows a shaft having an oil storage part for storing an oil therein to be manufactured easily. The shaft has an inner circumferential surface, an outer circumferential surface, and an oil flow path that is compartmentalized by the inner circumferential surface. The shaft comprises a large-bore part having a first bore, a small-bore part that is formed adjacently in one direction along the axial direction of the large-bore part and has a second bore smaller than the first bore, and a through hole that reaches from the inner circumferential surface of the large-bore part to the outer circumferential surface of the large-bore part. The small-bore part is formed by bending an extension part, which extends from the large-bore part in one direction along the axial direction, inward in the radial direction.
