Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a shake correction device, an imaging device, and a shake correction method, which are capable of highly precise correction of horizontal shake. According to one aspect of the present invention, a shake correction device determines a rotation radius used for shake correction on the basis of a calculated rotation radius and whether or not a polarity corresponding to the calculated rotation radius is a polarity corresponding to a pre-stored rotation radius, corrects image shake on the basis of a correction amount corresponding to the determined rotation radius, and can thus correct horizontal shake with excellent precision in consideration of the effect on the polarity of a correction performed by updating the rotation radius. In addition, the "pre-stored rotation radius" may be a fixed value, and may also be updated during a shake correction period. Moreover, shake correction can be performed by displacing a shake correction lens and/or an imaging element.
