Provided are a shake-detection device for an imaging device, a shake-correction device, an imaging device, and a shake-detection method that make it possible to perform high-precision shake detection and shake correction. A shake-detection device (100) that subtracts a reference value from sensor output from a gyro sensor (102) and uses an LPF (121) and a BPF (122) to respectively extract a low-frequency component and a high-frequency component from the sensor output after subtraction of the reference value. On the basis of the LPF output and the BPF output, a first determination unit (124) determines whether an imaging device is in a fixed-point imaging state. When it has been determined that the imaging device is in the fixed-point imaging state, a reference value deviation amount calculation unit (123) calculates a deviation amount for the reference value (a reference value deviation amount) on the basis of the LPF output for the period for which the determination was made. A subtraction unit (110) corrects the reference value by subtracting the reference value deviation amount from the sensor output after subtraction of the reference value and uses an HPF (112) to remove low-frequency noise from the sensor output after correction for the reference value deviation amount. The present invention thereby performs high-precision shake detection.
