Abstract:
A shape control method of a hot rolled strip or a hot rolled slab is provided, which adjusts the deformability of metal by influencing the temperature distribution over the width of a rolled stock, thus achieving ideal shape control. The following two manners can be used alone or in combination: 1) accurately spraying atomized cooling medium towards the rolled stock as as to change the temperature distribution over the width of the rolled stock, 2) selectively heating the rolled stock in segments over the width of the rolled stock by using electric induction heating elements. The cooling and/or induction heating parameters are adjusted over the width of the rolled stock based on the preset and feedback information in the above mentioned method, thus achieving open-loop or closed-hoop shape control. A shape control device of a hot rolled strip or a hot rolled slab used in the above mentioned method is also provided. Atomized cooling elements (1) are provided on the upstream and/or downstream of a reversing mill, or on the upstream of mill and/or between the stands of a tandem mill. The cooling elements spray atomized medium towards the upper and lower surface of the rolled stock simultaneously, and/or the electric induction heating elements (7) heats the rolled stock in segments. The shape control device of a hot rolled strip or a hot rolled slab has a simple structure, and can be applied widely.
