Abstract:

The shaped hook member of a hook-and-loop fastener, the shaped hook member comprising a base and a plurality of hook-shaped engaging elements rising from a surface of the base, characterized by satisfying the following requirements (1) to (3). (1) The hook-shaped engaging elements each become thinner from the root toward the end and become bent somewhere between the root and the end, the end pointing toward the base. (2) The plurality of hook-shaped engaging elements have been arranged in rows each extending in the same direction as the bending direction of the hook-shaped engaging elements, so that the bending directions of two adjacent rows or of two adjacent units each composed of two or more rows are opposite to each other. (3) The base and the hook-shaped engaging elements are each constituted of a resin which is a semi-aromatic polyamide resin comprising a semi-aromatic polyamide and an elastomer, the amount of which is 2-20 mass% per 100 mass% the semi-aromatic polyamide.
