Abstract:
An antenna array is disclosed which a plurality of sub-arrays (12A, 12B, 12C) are provided, each including a respective plurality of antenna elements (14) associated therewith. One or more shared antenna elements (16 AB) are shared by some or all of the antenna sub-arrays. The shared antenna elements are common elements of the respective pluralities of antenna elements in the sub-arrays that shared elements.
