Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application disclose a shared memory access method, comprising: configuring a specified real physical memory address as a reserved real physical memory address, wherein the reserved real physical memory address corresponds to a reserved memory area; during the creation of virtual machines, constructing an extended page table corresponding to each virtual machine; providing, to each virtual machine, a standard interface for accessing the reserved memory area; and when a shared memory access request initiated by a virtual machine side for calling the standard interface is received, accessing the reserved memory area according to a correspondence in the extended page table. By means of configuring a fixed area shared by a plurality of virtual machines as a shared real physical memory address and providing corresponding standard interfaces, according to the provided standard interfaces, processes in different virtual machines can access the shared memory located in the fixed area even if the processes run on different operating systems, thereby implementing efficient data exchange between the virtual machines.
