Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a sharpener (1) that is even capable of handling changes in the external diameter of a rotary blade (5) and does not require a guide part for locating the center point of the rotary blade (5). A sharpener (1) for solving said problem is a sharpener (1) to be used on the rotary blade (5) of a brush cutter. The sharpener is characterized in being provided with: a first base plate (3a), at least one end of which is fixed; a second base plate (3b) forming a specified angle with respect to the first base plate (3a) and at least one end of which is fixed; and sharpening members (4) that are provided on the first base plate (3a) and the second base plate (3b) and are for coming in contact with and sharpening the circumference of the rotary blade (5).
