A shear-type crusher constructed as follows to finely crush an object to be crushed: two rotating shafts (2, 3) supporting cutting edges are arranged in the transverse direction in a crusher body (1), cutting edges (7) each having protruding edge sections on its outer periphery are arranged in the axial direction of each of the two rotating shafts (2, 3) such that the edge sections mesh with each other, a loading opening (9) for loading an object (T) to be crushed is provided at one end in the rotating shaft axis direction of the upper part of the crusher body (1), a discharge opening (10) for discharging the object (T) crushed is provided at the other end in the rotating shaft axis direction of the lower part of the crusher body (1), and transversely feeding members (14) for feeding the crushed object (T), loaded from the loading opening (9) and crushed by the cutting edges (7), to the discharge opening side (O) are provided to crush the crushed object (T) for plural times in the crusher body (1).
