Abstract:
Shears for cutting rolled steel sheets comprising an immovable blade (2) fixed on a frame (1) and a moving blade (3) fixed in a blade beam (4). The blade beam (4) is mounted with the possibility of reciprocating motion in the direction of cutting within guides (7) of a hold-down beam (5) connected hingedly and with the possibility of rotation to the frame (1). The blade and hold-down beams (4, 5) are actuated by a drive connected thereto through a system of levers (8, 9).
