Abstract:
Provided is a sheathed heater that makes it easy to maintain the connection state between a heater terminal and a resistance wire. The sheathed heater (resistor R) is provided with a cylindrical section 67, a resistance wire 61 arranged in the interior of the cylindrical section 67, heater terminals 63 connected to both ends of the resistance wire 61, and an insulating powder 64 that fills the interior of the cylindrical section 67. The following are configured integrally in the heater terminals 63: a first end 63a that has a male screw shape intended to be screwed together with a nut 66 and that is partially exposed from the cylindrical section 67; a second end 63b that has a columnar shape and that has part of the resistance wire wrapped therearound; and an intermediate section 63c sandwiched between the first end 63a and the second end 63b. The intermediate section 63c includes a part in which the cross section has a shape other than a circular shape.
