Abstract:
This sheathed thermocouple comprises: thermocouple wires; a metal sheath which accommodates the thermocouple wires; an inorganic insulating powder which fills the interior of the metal sheath; a glass sealing part which seals an opening of the metal sheath when the thermocouple wires have been passed therethrough; compensating lead wires which are joined to the thermocouple wires; a metal sleeve, the tip of which has a cylindrical shape joined to the outer peripheral surface of the metal sheath, and in the interior of which a section of the metal sheath further toward the base end than the joining part, a base end part of the thermocouple wires, and a tip end part of the compensating lead wires are located, the thermocouple wires and the compensating lead wires being positioned so as to not make contact with each other; and a glass fill part which is formed from a glass having a lower softening temperature than the glass sealing part and which fills the space inside the metal sleeve.
