Abstract:
The present invention provides a sheet for body fluid absorption, said sheet having high absorption properties such as perspiration absorption properties and absorption rate, while exhibiting high liquid draining properties and being not susceptible to re-wetting. This sheet (2) for body fluid absorption has a first surface (2S1) and a second surface (2S2). This sheet for body fluid absorption is provided with: a nonwoven fabric layer (2a), one surface of which constitutes the first surface, and which contains a plurality of thermally fusible fibers (20) that are thermally fused to each other; and a hydrophilic fiber layer (2b), one surface of which is adjacent to the other surface of the nonwoven fabric layer, while the other surface of which constitutes the second surface, and which contains a plurality of hydrophilic fibers (30). Some of the plurality of hydrophilic fibers in the hydrophilic fiber layer penetrate through the nonwoven fabric layer, thereby being exposed in the first surface.
