Abstract:
This invention relates to a sheet cutter for soft woven fabric which comprises a feed means for a sheet of woven fabric, a cutting means positioned in front of the feed means, a sheet floating means disposed between the feed means and the cutting means, a support means for temporarily receiving the sheet cut by the cutting means and a conveyor means for vertically moving the sheet supported temporarily, laminating the sheets and conveying them to outside. A sheet floating quantity limitation means is added so as to cover the upper part of the sheet floating means or a vertical moving means is added to the conveyor means for laminating the sheets. A sheet of woven fabric is cut while the wrinkling thereof is prevented by the sheet floating means and, after the movement by the feed means for the cut sheets is stopped by the support means for temporarily receiving the sheets, the cut sheets are laminated. The cutter of the invention can easily cut particularly woven fabric having a small width and can laminate the sheets of woven fabric after cutting in order.
