In order to detect a sheet-filled state and -curled state by a simple configuration without additionally providing an actuator for exclusively detecting the occurrence of the sheet-curled state, an image forming device (50) is provided with at least a sheet discharge tray (80), an actuator (16), and a photosensor (15). The actuator (16) is swingably supported above a mounting surface of the sheet discharge tray (80). The actuator (16) is provided with a filled state detecting section (164) and a back end curl detecting section (162). The filled state detecting section (164) is disposed at the tip of the actuator (16) and configured so as to be in contact with the uppermost sheet on the sheet discharge tray (80). The back end curl detecting section (162) is formed so as to extend from the filled state detecting section (164) in the direction approximately parallel to the mounting surface of the sheet discharge tray (80) and in the direction that becomes farther from the mounting surface of the sheet discharge tray (80) as going in the direction opposite to the sheet feeding direction.
