Abstract:
The present invention provides: a method for producing sheet-like particles of zeolite, said particles being not obtained by a top-down method; and sheet-like particles of zeolite having an eight-membered oxygen ring structure, said particles being obtained by the production method. Sheet-like particles of zeolite according to the present invention have an eight-membered oxygen ring structure. The sheet-like particles have a thickness of 1 nm to 100 nm; and the aspect ratio ((maximum particle width)/thickness) of the sheet-like particles is 100 or more.
