Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide technology for more strongly joining together metal threads in a metal fabric. A sheet member is formed from a metal fabric knitted so that metal warp filaments and metal woof filaments mutually intersect, the metal warp threads and metal woof threads being provided with linear metal wire formed of a metal, and a covering portion that covers the metal wire. The sheet member includes welded sections in which the covering portions of the metal warp filaments and the covering portions of the metal woof filaments are welded at the portions where the metal warp filaments and the metal woof filaments intersect.
