Abstract:
The invention relates to a sheet metal part assembly comprising an inner sheet metal part (1) and an outer sheet metal part (3) connected to one another by a folded joint, in which a folded flange (5) of the outer sheet metal part is folded around a sheet metal edge (7) of the inner sheet metal part (1), wherein the folded flange (5) has at least one stamping (11) of the outer sheet metal part for a mechanical folded securing (9), which stamping is interlockingly engaged with a stamping (13) of the inner sheet metal part formed in the sheet metal part edge (7) of the inner sheet metal part (1). According to the invention, the two stampings (11, 13) are designed as dome-shaped hollow structures, of which the stamping (11) of the outer sheet metal part is designed as a stamping indentation facing the inner sheet metal part (1), into which the stamping-dome-shaped stamping (13) of the inner sheet metal part protrudes.
