Abstract:
The present invention provides a thin sheet which is suppressed in strain. A sheet according to the present invention has a thickness of 0.1-5 mm, and is formed of a plastic that contains at least one resin which is selected from among polyamide resins, polycarbonate resins, cellulose acylate resins and acrylic resins. The difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the retardation of this sheet is 3,000 nm or less. This sheet is able to be produced, for example, by: obtaining a plastic in the form of a sheet by extrusion molding a plastic that contains at least one resin which is selected from among polyamide resins, polycarbonate resins, cellulose acylate resins and acrylic resins; and subjecting the thus-obtained plastic in the form of a sheet to vacuum molding, pressure molding or vacuum pressure molding.
