Abstract:
A cutting blade wear determination device (31) for a sheet processing device comprises a cutting control unit (33), a cutting trace extraction unit (34), and a determination unit (35). The cutting control unit (33) actuates a lifting mechanism that can move the cutting blade in a direction orthogonal to a sheet placed on a table, and a horizontal movement mechanism that can move the cutting blade parallel to the surface of the table in a state in contact with the table, the cutting control unit commanding the formation of a cutting surface with the cutting blade on the sheet placed on the table. The cutting trace extraction unit (34) acquires an image by imaging, with a camera (21), the rear surface of the sheet at the section where formation of the cutting surface has been commanded, and extracts a cutting trace, which is a line where the formed cutting surface and the sheet rear surface intersect, from the image. The determination unit (35) determines that the cutting blade for which the formation of the cutting surface has been commanded is worn when an assumed line, which is the line where the cutting surface assumed to be formed on the sheet by the cutting blade intersects with the sheet rear surface, and the cutting trace extracted by the cutting trace extraction unit (34) do not match.
